Nestora’s original app forced users to toggle between “Lights,” “Thermostat,” “Cameras” — a disjointed experience. We redesigned around “Rooms.” Users select “Living Room” → see all devices in that room (lights, AC, blinds, camera) on one screen. Added “Scenes” (e.g., “Movie Night” dims lights, lowers blinds, turns on TV). Onboarding wizard auto-detects devices and suggests room groupings. “Away Mode” added with one-tap arming of security + energy saving. Integrated voice command previews (“Try saying: ‘Hey Nestora, good morning’”).
